This is our Mid High Youth trip we do over the summer.  We serve in communities all throughout the nation.  This year we are serving in Newark NY,  on the week of  July 15-20 2012.  Where we will work at kids camps, lead VBS at churches, work at a food bank, and help out in nursing homes, and working to better the lives of those we serve.  For more information about Group Workcamps Week of Hope click on the picture above.

This is our Sr. High Mission trip.  Each summer we take a group of Sr. High youth, and adults and  head out to different parts of the Appalachia Region to rebuild houses and lives for people in that area for a week.  Our projects include interior and exterior home repairs, digging, drywall, roofing, etc....  Our dates for this years trip are still being determined. • If you plan on serving with us this summer we ask that you please make every effort to participate in fundraisers and meetings, as they are important to our team.

On the first sunday of every month immediately after church, we make 200-400 sandwiches and bag lunches.  These lunches go to the men at our local men's shelter.  This is a great outreach to our community, a great time to fellowship with one another, and a great way to give meaning to our communion meal.

Each year we get together and go shop for Thanksgiving meals for those in need in our community.  We then head out in teams of youth and adults to deliver the meals to the local families.  This is a great way for us as a youth group to be thankful what we have and share that with those who may not have as much.  SSL hours are available.  This year we will be shopping and delivering on SUNDAY NOV 20.  This is mainly for our SR. High youth as our Mid high will be away on the Alive Conference. 

Each year we take old t-shirts and make them into animal toys for the animals in the shelter.  This is a great way for us to reach out another creature in God's great creation.  This year we will have 2 opportunities to reach out to God's Creation.

This year we will be hosting a Trick-or-treat alternative to families in our Church and community.  This is a safe place for families to bring kids to come and trick-or-treat.  We will make smore's, have contest for best dressed families, best decorated car and more.  SSL hours are available.  This is a great way for us to reach out to the kids and families in our church and community.
